The Itinerary
The 32nd edition of the UAE President’s Horse Racing Cup began in Tunisia on April 20, with a prize fund of 500,000 Tunisian dinars. From there, the action moved to Morocco, with the second race that took place on April 26. The prize purse for the second event of the series is set at 250,000 euros.
Similarly impressive prizes are in play as the Cup moves forward. The remaining events on the itinerary will take place in France on May 11, the United States on May 17, Italy on May 18, Sweden on June 6, Germany on July 6, the Netherlands on August 3, Spain on August 15, Russia on August 30, Belgium on September 2, Turkey on September 7, England on September 13, Poland on September 18, Egypt on October 25, Libya on October 26, and Saudi Arabia on November 21.
The Best President’s Cup in History
Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, chairman Matar Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri thanked Sheikh Mansour for the leadership and support that helps to make the UAE President’s Cup the most prestigious in Arabian horse racing.
“We express our gratitude to the wise leadership on the announcement of the 2025 agenda for the UAE President’s Cup,” the chairman said, “appreciating their boundless support for this esteemed event in its 32nd edition, which spans 17 countries.”
Matar Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri then commented on the progress made by the event each year, adding that the “32nd edition will be the grandest and most valuable in the history of global Arabian horse racing.”
Horse Racing in the UAE
The rules on qualification for the UAE President’s Horseracing Cup state that all competitors must be purebred Arabian runners. Arab horses are highly sought after by owners and trainers all over the world, due to their agility and ability to learn quickly, and the event is considered to be at the pinnacle of the sport.
The 32nd UAE President’s Horse Racing Cup continues to extend its impressive reach, with the 2025 event heading into no fewer than 17 countries. Included in the list are horse racing hubs such as the UK, the United States, and France, with the series also reaching into regions where the sport is still developing.
It all adds up to the best-ever edition of the Cup, with more than six months of world-class horse racing set to get under way in Tunisia on April 20.
